So!
More updates!
So yeah cabaret was amazing, i wanna try and get painted next year. I think I'm pretty much required to come back XD I'll be settled after the move in decemeber and will have worked up enough vacation time by then to make it happen, even if im not living in california then.
Another high point was the fabulous birthday party we threw together. Plenty of booze, orded pizza, had lots of people, even some i didnt know, but w/e its a furry room party. They were all cool people. We managed to stay quiet enough to slip under the hotels radar, so we never got shut down. Go us! Thanks to everyone who came that was cooperative and made it possible.
But the COOLEST part was thanks to the collaboration of many friends lead by Kuze the Lion, who managed to get a comission from a fantasic artist, and get it printed on marzipan on a birthday cake! we had leotiger cake, and it was fucking amazing! I have pics of it, just not on this computer.
Raj bought me a super sexy print in the art auction of a white tiger hunting in snow with a bow and arrow. The original was done back in '01, and last year at FC is was resold, and gained in value. Its such an awesome piece, i love it so much. Again, pics to come soon.
Probably one of the most amusing moments: There was a prom night or graduation party, so something high school-ish on friday night. Most of the kids were pretty receptive, especially the guys (whom were all probably drunk off their asses and thought the whole thing was hysterical.) The girls were a little more concerned. My favorite quote by a ditzy girl in a slutty dress: "oh my god seriously you guys, I cant handle this. Something just bit my leg" SOOOO MUCH LULZ!

Other than the many issues and problems between the hotel and the convention, over all i had a wonderful time, as i was determined to do, and i plan on being faithful to what was my first convention ever. Cheers!

I'm glad you had a good time! XD I was SO close to going to Califur this year, but I ended up running out of funds to go... but, from what I heard from the LJ community about feeling unwelcome and stuff, I'm glad I didn't go. Still, once again I'm glad you were able to make lemons into lemonade it seems, and maybe I'll see you at FC or the next Califur. (I've never been to a fur con, I want to go SO BAD! XD)
